The Association of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce of Florida (ABiCC) applauds the efforts of the U.S.A. and the Andean nations – Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, for the subscription of a Free Trade Agreement.  

 ABiCC is confident that The U.S.-Andean FTA will advance the expansion of trade and economic relations between Colombia, Ecuador and Peru and the State of Florida.  Latin America and Florida have a rich history of doing business together. The U.S. -Andean FTA  will expand two-way trade opportunities, benefit employment and living standards for all parties, and increase market access for Florida goods and services,

 ABiCC distinguishes The U.S.-Andean FTA as an excellent model to promote development and political stability in the region, while encouraging regional economic cooperation. After the passage of the agreement by the U.S. Congress and the respective assemblies, The U.S.-Andean FTA  will prove successful in providing a strong initiative for further trade liberalization in the region, and encourage other free trade initiatives for further reduction of tariffs and barriers while increasing opportunities for Florida goods and services. The U.S. - Andean FTA will provide Andean consumer goods and services at lower costs without disrupting the Florida economy. 

 The Board of Directors of ABiCC enthusiastically supports the initiatives of the USA, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru as they seek to quickly pass U.S -Andean FTA , which will serve to stimulate economic development and create jobs in both the United States and in Latin America. 

 The Association of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce of Florida (ABiCC) is a cooperative association for bi-national chambers of commerce in Florida, with 43 member organizations and a total of 8,000 international business members, constituting a major part of the international business community.  ABiCC strives to promote, foster, and advance the common interests of its member organizations, developing business contacts locally and overseas by facilitating commercial relations and exchanges.
